With modern equipment and an experienced guide, you will have no problem descending, jumping and overcoming the obstacles. In a nutshell: large canyon, a lot of water, heaps of pleasure.
  • Hydrospeed
    Hydrospeed is an adventurous water sport in which the participants descend the Sava Bohinjka rapids using small rafts and fins.
  • Sport climbing
    An array of climbing areas (Pod Skalco, Bellevue, Bitnje, Bohinjska Bela) and a multitude (over 200) of well maintained routes of all difficulties will satisfy everybody; from beginners and families to those seeking the toughest challenges.

  • Alpine skiing
    Bohinj boasts three ski centres; Kobla (400m), Vogel (9km) in Soriška planina (12km). Not far off are the ski centres of Krvavec (50km) and Kranjska gora (50km).
  • Cross country skiing
    Trails of all difficulty ratings are available all around Bohinj.
  • Ski touring
    Vogel is the place for the most adventurous.
  • Sledding
    Night sledding from Vogar is organised every year, and for the past two years, the Soriška planina ski centre has hosted the Natural Track Luge World Championship.
  • Ice skating
    Apart from the frozen lake, skating rinks are also available for ice skating lovers.
